The deadline to submit comments on the County of Maui’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Action Plan Substantial Amendment 1 has been extended to March 3, 2026.
A public notice for the County’s first substantial amendment to the Action Plan was posted on the HoʻokumuHou website on Jan. 16, 2026. On Jan. 30, the amendment was updated and reposted, along with an updated public notice. In accordance with U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations, the mandatory 30-day public comment period has now been extended from its previous deadline of Feb. 17.
